Lowering the Bar

obama, obama jokes, political, humor, cartoon, conservative, hope n' change, hope and change, stilton jarlsberg, hillary, huma, holder, lawyers for hillary

In a story so filled with irony that we could stick refrigerator magnets to it, former Attorney General Eric "Fast & Furious" Holder will be hosting a high dollar "Lawyers for Hillary" fundraiser in late May.

Lawyers attending the event are required to hand over $2700 and, if they have courtroom experience in criminal cases, their resumés.

Frankly, Hope n' Change is hoping that rather than an appalling breach of anything like professional ethics, this actually turns out to be a clever  FBI sting operation designed to get Hillary, Holder, and a few dozen other corrupt attorneys packed into the a single room before the doors get slammed shut and the handcuffed guests, writhing on the floor after a gentle tasering, are read their rights.

If that's the case, we're hoping that someone from the FBI will give us a few days advance warning. We'd happily cough up $2700 just to be there when the subpoenas hit the fan.

BONUS: NOW URINE TROUBLE
obama, obama jokes, political, humor, cartoon, conservative, hope n' change, hope and change, stilton jarlsberg, schools, bathrooms, transgender, decree
In fairness, this may have been the first time Obama ever tried to use a urinal.
Don't look for too much meaning in the above cartoon - it's just a poop joke.  But unfortunately, people are looking for too much meaning in the stupid "transgender bathroom war" declared by the White House and re-energized with the president's latest edict to school systems nationwide.

We don't intend to give the story any more time, as the whole brouhaha (or is it a poo-haha?) has been deliberately created and timed to distract voters from more important events.

It is, quite simply, a tempest in a pee pot.

Today’s distraction comes from the New York Times article claiming they interviewed about 50 women that knew Trump in his private live. It seems that some of them claim to have suffered from his unwanted advances. Maybe they are angry because he wouldn’t date them or failed to provide that promotion they wanted.
I asked Mrs. ET if asking someone for a date constituted unwanted advances and what other actions would be considered unwanted advances. She was unable to think of any examples.

For this story to have any value I would need to see the women accusing Donald Trump of wrong doing to come out and be interviewed. Let them make their case and prove that the New York Times didn’t just make up this story.

This is a nonissue and should be treated as political nonsense.

Most of those women admitted that they thought is was just elementary school teasing way back then but the ever vigilant media sees it different.

And to think , a Democrat president has gone from a goal of putting a man on the moon to putting a man in the ladies restroom

"Lawyers for Hillary"....I thought you were joking and had to check it out. Sadly, it's true. How insane are these people?

TrickyRicky said...

It's a generalization, I know, but as a class lawyers have about as much class as Hillary.

The whole thing could be solved by adding a restroom labeled "Democrats".

How come that every time the left sees a threat from a right-sided politician they are able to come up with a gazillion or more women, little boys, and/or goats who swear that said right winger sexually molested them? And it all happened from 42 to 57 years ago.

It's understandable that Øbama would push the transgender bathrooms. He probably wishes to make it totally acceptable for him and the First Ladyboy to stand next to each other at the Mens Room urinals.

@Joseph ET- I find it pretty hard to get concerned about "unwanted advances" (which indeed may amount to nothing more than flirting) when Hillary's husband has a demonstrable record of rape and sexual assault.

@REM1875- I'd frankly be surprised to hear that Trump wasn't constantly fishing for consensual sex. He was young, rich, good looking, and occasionally single. If women found his approach annoying, so be it. If that approach amounted to sexual harassment, then let's get the details or throw out the whole stupid topic.

@donpaul53- "That's one small squirt for Man..."

@Judi King- Oh, it's true alright. I couldn't even make a lot of comic hay with it because the concept itself is beautifully self-contained already. Scumbag lawyers gathering to support someone under active investigation by the FBI, and the whole affair catered by Eric "Contempt of Congress" Holder? To quote the original Star Wars, "you'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."

@TrickyRicky- True story: the last time I was called for jury duty (which I was entirely willing to serve), I was dismissed during questioning when I was asked if I had "any problem with lawyers." I told the court a few specific reasons (from personal experience) why I consider them, as a class, to be lying inbred parasites. Apparently, the attorneys selecting the jury did not find my candor to be refreshing.

@Liberty Card- That's actually a brilliant idea. Since they're so proud of being tolerant, then who cares WHAT goes on in that bathroom?

@Fred Ciampi- It's only unwanted sexual aggression if it's done by a politician on the Right. On the Left, it's considered "voter outreach."

@Geoff King- And going WAY back to when the Clintons were in the White House, the joke at the time was that female staffers didn't like her because after she used the bathroom, she never put the seat back down. Who knew that this would actually be considered a serious issue at the point she's running for president?!

We must get over thinking Democrats will only try to win this election fairly. They are clearly a lawless bunch when need be; there are already many preparations underway to take the election by cheating, fraud, dirty tricks, hacking, etc, if they can't win it straight up. This has to be stopped.

I'm not so sure that America's #1 rent seeking industry supporting Hillary the corpratist is so much "irony" as it is "Well, duh!". The legal industry has been the chief patron of the Democratic Party for generations, and their future would seem to be brightest under another Clinton administration that no doubt would guarantee full employment for years to come. Also, the idea that there would be a room full of lawyers both investigating and defending Hillary yet both giving money to her shouldn't be a surprise either. It's all just part of the Clinton magic of bringing people together.

Also, I sincerely hope that none of you are holding their breaths for that big Justice Department investigation:

Hillary Clinton nets big bucks from Justice Dept. employees during server investigation

"The FBI’s investigation into the “secret server” Hillary Clinton used as President Obama’s top diplomat has not halted political contributions from the very department that may be tasked with her prosecution.

Donations from Department of Justice employees to the former secretary of state have dwarfed those made to her political opponents. Mrs. Clinton hauled in $73,437 thus far during the 2016 presidential cycle, compared to $8,900 for Vermont Sen. Bernard Sanders and $381 for Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump."

Not that there will be much in the way of evidence to prosecute her with:

State Dept. says it can’t find emails of former Clinton IT staffer

"The State Department says it cannot find emails to or from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s senior information technology staffer, Bryan Pagliano, dating from her tenure. Pagliano, who set up and maintained Clinton’s private server, is a key witness in the FBI inquiry into Clinton’s handling of sensitive material on that server. He was granted immunity by the Justice Department in exchange for his cooperation.

Don't know what the Clinton's have promised Mr. Pagliano beyond the option to remain alive.

Urine Trouble: As I said last week, I think that World War Pee is largely a distraction, but is also a piece of the ongoing War Against the Middle Class; specifically middle class values. The left is testing the next phase of it's cultural transformation agenda, which until recently was largely passive through the media and academia. Until now, it was possible to reject most of this agenda in your personal lives, although it did force those of us with children into a permanent defensive posture against what was being taught in schools and the media.

But now that's not enough for the left anymore. They want to force their values upon you by fiat.

Personally, I don't really care so much about who shows up in which restroom. In fact, it's been happening for ages in venues where there've been long lines for the women's restroom and none for the men's room at various public venues, or where an adult of one sex has a child of another, etc. The "pervert" argument is overblown since the perverts are going to do what they're going to do regardless of where they're supposedly allowed or not.

But where I think the bigger battle lies is the school locker rooms and showers, where the left has long had this unisex-fetish. I think women are the long-term losers in that battle.

John the Econ said...

Yes @CenTexTim, I've seen that story, and there are countless others across the country as well. Don't expect to see them in the national media either. (If a tree falls in a forest and the CNN or the New York Times doesn't report it...) Again, girls, if you're uncomfortable about this, you're the ones with the problems. Just suck it up and consider yourself fortunate to be living in such a Progressive cultural mecca.

Although it is somewhat refreshing to see that the ACLU is again interested in the civil rights of individuals over groups...

But fortunately, I consider this a relatively short-term trend. With the massive influx of alternate cultures (Hispanic and Islamic) who don't have a particularly favorable view of this sort of thing, this won't be lasting all that long. The Islamic culture, for example isn't nearly as "tolerant" as we are, and will resist this movement far more, um, aggressively than we will. They won't be resisting with lawyers.

Speaking of Hillary:

How desperate and incredible is Hillary? So much so that she's gotta deploy Bill:

I'd put Bill 'in charge of revitalizing the economy'

Of course, those old enough to have lived through it as adults remember the late '90s fondly as a period of vast economic growth. This was largely due to the dot-com boom, and the "peace dividend" of winning the cold war.

And yet, strangely enough Hillary Clinton has spent the last year repudiating everything that made the economic growth of that age possible. Bill lowered capital gains taxes; she wants to raise them. Bill fought for NAFTA; she's against it. Wages rose because of a vigorous demand for labor; Hillary wants to kill the demand for labor with a $15 minimum wage. All that's left for Bill to "revitalize" with is the sex industry.

And this was pretty funny:

<a href="http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/07/politics/hillary-clinton-media-donald-trump/>Clinton calls on media to step up scrutiny of Trump</a>

Hear that media? You got your marching orders! And continue to keep your eyes closed about anything in the Clinton's past.
